Carlos Cunningham, ND, Founder/ President For Strategic Advancement

Dr. Cunninigham received his B.A. in Philosophy from Rutgers University and his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.) from the University Of Bridgeport College Of Naturopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at the University of Bridgeport Naturopathic Medical Center in Connecticut. Dr. Cunningham was also professor of Anatomy and Physiology at the W.E.B Dubois Scholars Institute conducted at Princeton University. In 2008, Dr. Cunningham founded the Princeton Center For International Health, a global NGO that is dedicated to carrying Integrated Medicine to developing countries and communities of limited access to healthcare.

Dr. Colleen Hayes has been in clinical practice since 2014 with a focus in women's health & hormones, gastrointestinal disorders, and mental emotional wellbeing - a trifecta she finds inextricably linked. She is a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington state and received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.

Before medical school, Dr. Hayes spent several years working as a teacher in Mexico, which initiated an appreciation for the importance of culturally competent healthcare. Her passion to promote naturopathic medicine led her on various trips to Nicaragua, Haiti, and Guatemala, where she served as a clinical volunteer for such organizations as Natural Doctors International, Naturopaths Without Borders, and Princeton Center for International Health.

She is a firm believer in quality practical healthcare for all, and through naturopathic medicine, she knows it is possible to reach your loftiest health goals!

Colleen Hayes, ND

Julian Cano, ND

Dr. Cano completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers State University in Newark, New Jersey where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology. Dr. Cano studied at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut where he completed his doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master’s degree in acupuncture. Dr. Cano is an alumnus of the Princeton Center for International Health. His 13 years of holistic medicine training included naturopathic philosophy, prevention, and treatment of illnesses through natural therapies that include but are not limited to homeopathy, nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, Chinese formulations, and mind-body medicine. Dr. Cano established his wellness practice in 2013, and since then, he has been integrating naturopathic therapies to analyze acute and chronic cases. He specializes in but is not limited to helping you with asthma, substance abuse, prostate issues, mental health, cancer, prenatal, postnatal care, infertility, male conditions, skin conditions, diabetes, autism, autoimmune conditions. He has extensive experience working with children, adults, and geriatrics. Dr. Cano is licensed to practice Acupuncture in Connecticut.

Erika Venegas Aponte, MS, MPH

Erika Venegas Aponte, MS, MPH, is a global health professional with nearly two decades of international experience strengthening health systems and leading disease control programs across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Representing the U.S. Government and later as a consultant, she has partnered with governments, donors, and multilateral organizations to design and manage large scale efforts focused on malaria elimination, HIV AIDS (including PEPFAR), and emergency responses such as COVID 19 vaccination. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University teaching comparative health systems and health policy, and holds an MPH in Global Health from NYU, an MS in Microbiology, and a BS in Biology, with Spanish and English fluency and working knowledge of French and Portuguese.

Blake Myers, ND

Dr. Blake Myers is a naturopathic physician and assistant professor of Integrative and Functional Nutrition at Saybrook University. With over 15 years of clinical experience, from being U.S. Army combat medicine to integrative care for chronic illness and addiction, Dr. Blake centers whole person, integrative care in their practice and teaching. Their commitment to serving vulnerable populations increasing effecting natural medicine healthcare access to the broader world has led to their joining the board of The Princeton Center for International Health. Dr. Blake is the author of The Natural Apothecary, Rock Menopause Naturally, and produces health education through multimedia content and live webinars. They are also the co-founder of The Bridge System, a business that offers natural medicine menopause solutions. They served on the board of the Naturopathic Academy of Primary Care Physicians (NAPCP) from 2016–2020, including two years as vice president, helping grow membership and launch continuing education for integrative clinicians. Outside of medicine, Dr. Blake enjoys being at the beach, practicing yoga, playing and recording music, and being with their son Leonidas.
